Predicaments of modern women



In our modern highly civilised and highly educated society we all are enjoying the women’s liberation in the form of grabbing the best education for her, employing her in big and giant Multinational corporations and  providing her the equal social status as men. In todays era ,women is coming out with flying colours in all the fields of education and modernism.

But question is whether she has been able to tackle the typical old mindsets of people surrounding her in day to day life?The women who wants to go out and work and break the walls of age old customs and traditions are still facing the discrimination and disparities from society.

This can be proved by many examples. A woman who wishes to earn and be independent like man are still considered as overambitious and extremely career oriented women. When we expect the women to acquire best of the best education, to earn and work equally with men, to make her position strong in her family and society should we name her overambitious just because our typical age old cultural mindsets doesn’t change?
The answer is NO. The working women who are maintaining a fine balance between work and home should be supported wholeheartedly. I have seen many working women nowadays  following  their family cultures, traditions and rituals perfectly but since they have to cope up with many areas of life even if she lacks in one aspect why she doesn’t gets support is a big question?

The woman who wishes to be successful in this modern society always have to face lots of challenges. It is always said that we are living in the era of women empowerment but still we have not achieved it completely. People who appreciate the highly qualified and successful women are the ones who are not able to digest if women rises above men. This mindset has to be improved. When we expect women to be successful and highly qualified like man we have to accept her need and urge for more and more progress rather than labelling her as overambituous or super career oriented women. If she is standing equally with men,She will progress equally and will place her views and suggestions equally.

Our society has to accept the modern career oriented women with more optimistic and positive attitude. The women will be able to create her own standing and move out in this smart technological world only when she will get support of  healthy mindsets and a healthy approach of people towards her modernism and success.

The women who wishes to acquire success in careers are the same women who works wholeheartedly for the betterment and welfare of their families and societies, so blaming any modern, educated andsmart women as selfish, highly career oriented and workaholic is not right.

We all must think seriously on this issue. We all must leave hypocrisy and narrow-mindedness and look towards the holistic approach of modern ..They will definitely shape the future of our country.


I am not saying that women are not misusing the term modernism in the name of being their independent and educated. We get to watch many cases where women are taking this liberation for granted. They are following western culture and encouraging late night parties, alcohol consumption and spoiling Indian culture but then when we don’t stop the man from doing all this we cannot question women, as now when we talk of same  equal status of men and women both of them should be blamed for unethical practises in the name of modernism.

The only point is modern educated women should be supported for all her successful endeavours and ambitions but should not be blamed alone when it comes to culture and ethics. Men and women are equally responsible for everything good and bad in our society and sooner we accept this fact our country will rise above all the levels of age old orthodox mindsets and our country will produce more and more intelligent and successful women who will be a blessing to the society..

Educated Youth of modern times degrade their parent’s abilities and achievements

Parents are the ones who have given us the essence and reason for living and we all know we are indebted to our parents in million ways. Parents are the ones who make our lives worth living and they are the only ones who try their level best to fetch their children best education and best resources to become the most successful person on the earth. They do lots of sacrifices for us and in return they only expect love from their children.

In modern times the parents are keen to make their children highly qualified and high earning professionals in huge Multinational corporations, and parents are full of pride by their child's success in the young age. I have written this article basically on those youth of today who have become arrogant and insensitive instead of being thankful and generous towards their parents achievements and sacrifices.

I have observed in my nearest surroundings that nowadays young boys and girls are earning handsomely at a very young age and how they boast in front of their parents about pressures and stress of Multinational corporations. They humiliate their parents and term them as a simple and low profile employees of their times and they make their parents feel that they had fixed job and salary but multinationals are rich payers and demand intelligence and lots of time and devotion.I have seen parents getting shattered and completely broken by their children's arrogance and attitude. This is a very common problem now days. Boys and girls are earning lots and lots of money in big companies and huge corporate giants and are becoming ruthless and heartless to their parents.

The solution is that parents should always teach their children humility along with success. They should not boast about their children and pamper them in such a way that one day their children themselves start degrading their parents. And children should also learn to respect their parents because ultimately whatever we achieve is all due to our parent's efforts and devotion. Children should accept this reality that it is because of their parent's time, devotion and resources one gets success in life. Nothing can be accomplished on our own. It is the combined effort of both parents and children that one gets happiness in life.

The ultimate solution is with God who has created mindsets of youth in such a way that they have given all the credits of their success to themselves. God can only enlighten such children who ignore their parents' constant services to them throughout their lives. And God should make parents practical in modern times that not to trust and boast about your children every time. They may break your trust and you may lose them in due course of time if you are over possessive and caring for them.

Parents should adopt balanced approach towards their successful children. They should become practical and realistic instead of becoming emotionally trapped. This is harsh reality and very few people dare to write it. I am initiating so that in today's modern times I can wake up those parents who are blind in their children's love so much that they are bearing all their arrogance and selfishness.

The lust for money and security in the long run also has stopped parents from raising the voice against their insensitive and proud children which I feel is absolutely wrong. The ultimate wealth of anyone is his self respect and it should be preserved and protected by all means. Money may last for few years but respect will last for years and years. Parents should make themselves self sufficient and strong so that they do not have to bear disrespect of their children during old age as there is no guarantee that parents will get a fair treatment in the long run from such kind of children who have no concern and humility for their parents today.

I only wish to write that successful modern youth of today should respect parents achievements and innumerable services towards them and and also want to wake parents of today' s youth who are becoming emotional fool and tolerating the nuisances of their successful but insensitive children. Love of parents is love of God and those who are unable to show love and respect towards their parents should undergo emotional counselling and I pray to God to grant all of us the warmth of love of our parents throughout our lives.

Is brain drain gaining momentum?

Brain drain is a very common problem and has been much talked about but now a days.

Brain drain is speedily increasing because the outsourcing of human resource from India has become a popular feature and Indians are lured to gain money at a faster pace than in their own country.We cannot blame brain drain to the extent that the politics, corruption and lack of professionalism in India has created young bright students and youth to work outside India, gain success at faster pace and lead better and peaceful life there.

But on the contrary we know the truth. Our Country is giving input to generate bright and young professionals and we are giving output to the other countries.But as we know in order to gain success overnight everyone wishes to earn in dollars and pounds. Very few young professionals migrate back to India and wish to earn handsomely and prove their worth in their Country.

One of the reasons of brain drain is people’s indifferent attitude towards Indians and this indifference has led many young professionals to conquer money, name and fame over their family members and friends.

 

The problem lies in unhealthy competition and inferiority complex running in the minds of Indian professionals and automatically it leads to brain drain.

I would also like to raise one of the point that people sometimes call it as a ‘brain gain’ as the educated professionals are proving their worth and the worth of our country in other countries and as we hear that there is no harm in earning handsomely in dollars and pounds. But then I would like to question why are people studying and getting degrees from India? If finally their aim is to earn and prosper in other countries then they should acquire all their education from outside India where they wish to settle. Why our country is wasting its huge resource, time and money on such professionals who will finally give all the output to other countries?

 

I know its globalisation and to progress you have to expand your wings but then I wish to talk about those people whose only aim is to grab best degrees from best educational institutions from India and finally migrate to abroad leaving the country of their origin without any concern and respect. But on the contrary our country is also at fault. We know in India from top to bottom there is corruption in hierarchy why would one not want to leave such a country and work for outsiders who pay handsomely and demand less and provide best work cultures and incentives.

It is all in God’s hand to wake up the people who are running our Country and guide them to change the pattern of education, work culture and system in order to retain our own people in our own country and make our country a better place to work, enjoy and lead life to the best..

 Will Recession change the lives of people for years and years to come?

The recession is the most prominent and serious issue now a days. The recession has changed the entire lives of people. The recession  has become a turning point in the lives of many young professionals and job aspirants. People who had put in lots of efforts for gaining high education in and outside India have suffered failures due to this recession.

The recession had hit the markets of London and USA but the bad effects and the poison of its destruction spread everywhere.There were thousands of professionals who had to bear the pain of being thrown out from their companies like a trash. There were professionals who despite of being highly qualified and intelligent had to migrate back to other places because they were not able to grab best jobs in the desired country due to this recession.

The solution is people should not lose their confidence when the concerned company leaves them instead person should patiently try their level best to gain that same name and fame which they get there after years and years of perseverance, but as again we see the other side of coin it is easy to write but person who might have gone through such professional trauma only knows what forced him to step back.The recession is a much hyped up topic for those who haven’t face it but its the matter of life and death who have suffered its painful claws.

The ultimate solution is with God who should help and give inner strength to such victims of recession who have either faced the bad job scene or who have either lost their jobs to gain momentum in life again and by their hard work and intelligence prove their worth where ever they go.

Also only God knows the basic essence behind this recession, whether it is all natural or the economists are creating it artificially? Because this recession has hit back hard to many industries and has changed the lives of many successful and hard working people.

We must try our level best to morally support such victims of recession (if we come across any) who lose their faith and courage by the sudden shock of losing their jobs.

We must not degrade and insult anyone who has suffered from recession because anyone amongst us can be victim of it in the near future so one should be down to earth and grounded from his roots so that if such kind of hassles come across the person he does not lose his  balance of mind.

Politicians should not be blamed for everything.

We have a bad habit of blaming politicians in everything ,whether it is to curb the poverty and unemployment issues, whether it is related to bomb blasts in our country or whether it is related to corruption, we  blame politicians and leaders of the country all the time.

But when we are asked to do small voluntary welfare programs like tree plantations in our surroundings, helping poor and needy people in getting employment, Child education programmes ,helping people of flood prone areas etc. we act as laggard. These were just petty examples of what we escape from when asked for welfare and betterment of our country.

 We have no right to speak ill about leaders and politicians of our country when we ourselves ignore our duties towards our country.

We very easily blame politicians for what they are not doing and for what they are doing. Have we ever   thought who are we to speak such words when we ourselves are only involved in our personal lives, in our money making, in our progress and in our name, fame and gain?

No we have only right to speak about something or someone’s services when we ourselves have done an inch of that work in our lifetime. If we haven’t done anything for the welfare of our country even when we got chance and even when it was in our reach, then we must not blame politicians alone.

We must see our deeds first and then blame others deeds. Politicians are chosen by common masses like us, so it is our duty to choose the right person without any prejudices and without being biased.

I do not deny this fact that our country produces the most corrupt politicians but yes every leader is not bad. We are so biased that whenever there is crisis we start blaming the political system. We are also equally responsible for good and bad of our society.

We must understand the hassels of the leader of our country. Its easy to pin point a mistake in a leader or politician but its very tough to stand at their place and work. We must try to develop sense of understanding towards our leaders and politician's situations.

Instead of blaming we must try to uplift our society to the best of our abilities. As well said charity begins at home. We must first learn to be a good human being and then a good citizen of our country.

Everyone is aware of their duties and politicians should be given space to perform their duties instead of criticism. We all must first try to improve ourselves then we are in a position to blame the leaders of our country.
